Strategic Plan Discussion
The group identified the following items as being priorities:
- Music program
- Quality of preaching
- Challenge the intellect
- Instructed Eucharist (thirst for learning)
- Variety of liturgical rites
- Adult forums and Christian Formation for children
- Open to diversity
- 9:15 family service
- Involve children in worship service
- Small group Bible study
- Opportunities for sponsorship of activities that promote spiritual growth
- Partnership with other churches
Committee Development and Structure
The committee structure was evaluated and changes were made to reflect the present needs of the congregation and to coincide with the By-laws. The by-laws will also be reviewed and updated.

Event Planning
The participants engaged in a brainstorm session of possible events. Having each participant select two items prioritized the events. The following list reflects the prioritization.
- Dinner groups (13 votes) – Sandra, Art and Sally agreed to assist with organization.
- Art Show (10 votes) – Callie will coordinate
- Fifth Sunday (6 votes) – Callie, Laina and Gail to coordinate
- Family weekend at All Saints (6 votes) – Michele to coordinate
- U of L Interfaith Center activity (3 votes)
- Topical Speakers (2 votes)
- Noon lecture series (2 votes)
- Day trip (2 votes)
- Fish Fry (2 votes)
- Washington – National Cathedral (1vote)
- Youth Bible study (1 vote)
- Book Club (1 vote)
- Confirmation classes (1 vote)
- Quiet evening

The softball team was a huge success and the children’s hand bell choir was unanimously adopted; therefore, neither was included in the vote.
