FREE Lenten Recital Series and Lunch
Join us at Calvary every Wednesday through March 24th at 12:05 for great music followed by a great lunch at 12:30. Voluntary donations are appreciated and will assist the Calvary Music Program.
March 10, Parker Hall – Katherine Alberts, Oboe
A member of the Louisville Bach Society Orchestra and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, she has performed in many venues around the state, and often at Calvary.
March 17 – Glenna Armstrong Metcalfe, Organ
Glenna Armstrong Metcalfe received her Master of Music degree from the University of Louisville, where she studied with Melvin Dickinson. She currently teaches at Royal Spring Middle School in Georgetown and serves as Minister of Music at Faith Baptist Church.
March 24 - Margaret Dickinson, Organ
Margaret Dickinson is director of Music, Outreach, and Communications at Calvary and organist for the Louisville Bach Society.
Instructed Eucharist
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, March 21, when Father Hines will lead us in an Instructed Eucharist at the 9:00 a.m. service. If you are interested in learning more about the Holy Eucharist, or would like your children to prepare for receiving communion, please join us on the 21st.
Agape Feast and Maundy Thursday Service
You won't want to miss the Agape Feast and Maundy Thursday service on April 1, and the Holy Saturday Cleansing of the Church on April 3. A light lunch will be provided if you sign up in advance.
